HOWTO: non-steam cstrike 1.6 server on freebsd
mkdir ~/hlds; cd ~/hlds


fetch hldsupdatetool.bin ; fetch engine.v15.tgz
chmod +x hldsupdatetool.bin

install steam, fetch and update cstrike
./hldsupdatetool.bin
./steam -command update -game valve -dir .
./steam -command update -game cstrike -dir .

crack engine_ files to allow nonsteam players on non /24 networks
rm engine_* ; tar xf engine.v15.tgz

fetch server.cfg
edit/create server config file

start server
./hlds_run -game cstrike +ip verejnu.adresu.sem +sv_lan 1 -nomaster +map de_dust
